Dr. Anurag Sekra is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist practicing at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland. He is a New Zealand trained gastroenterologist born and brought up in India.
He arrived in New Zealand to undergo his basic and advanced training in General medicine in Hamilton. Following this he underwent specialist training in Gastroenterology in Auckland.
He has a broad range of experience in all aspects of Gastrooenterology and has a particular interest in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, newer endoscopic imaging techniques like chromoendoscopy and virtual endoscopy and IBD.
